Project management and I first met in outback WA in 1997, and it’s been a love affair ever since.

Some peoples brains are wired to immense amounts of detail whilst maintaining strategic outlook; able to zoom out to the macro whilst managing the micro. Excited to jump into new spaces with curiosity and intelligence, whilst leading teams to success in live spaces. This happens to be me. I was lucky to have found what speaks to me and enables me to deliver immense value.

Project management is effectively a series of mitigating and solving problems in a live space. I do this with elegance and wisdom not just because I have been doing it for so long, but because I am values driven and care for win-win outcomes.

My project management methodology has been refined over years, what makes me so adept as a project manager is my ability to build trust with people. I have high emotional intelligence, am a trained community engagement professional, have lived all over the world and speak more than one language.

A mentor once told me, “If you don’t have trust, you’ve got nothing”. In all of my project management structures, whether leading teams of over 50 people or working autonomously, I’ve lived by this credo and it’s served me well.
